Houdini Bridge

I've started to properly learn Houdini, its a but difficult to get a hang of, but I feel like I'm getting it. I do really like seeing the result of procedural generation. This was quite a simple one to get me going, I'm gunna start doing some more involved stuff that can me used directly in UE5.



Shaders!

Whilst working on some other WIPs I had some fun with materials, I really enjoy seeing dynamic gradient materials, I just think that they're fun 


 I also made a rather simple Cell Shader. It was a lot simpler than I thought it would be, for some reason I'm kind of disappointed about that.



Procedural Trees

I've been quite interested in learning more about working with procedural generation in UE5, and although its basic I'm rather happy with how easy it was, I would have liked to use better models to showcase it though.


Water Material

I've been trying to get more diverse and updated experience with UE5, so the most fun and intereting way that I fin to do that is, making materials. This is a rather simple watrer shader. 

I've had a tough time with water previously, but I actually really enjoyed making this one,  I especially liked the redlight absorption aspect,  I thought it was really cool.

I try to keep my Mats clean and organized. the top group is the ripples, the most finicky part in my opinion. I wanted to make more of a still lake/pond, rather than the sea or ocean that I've seen used as examples, therefore I made the normals pan quite slowly, little and 'wide' surface detail.
